Euro CarParks Amazing Rejection of Appeal

courtenay62 said:Well, VERY good news!!! I've had my Parking Charge Notice overturned! And a big 'Thank you' to all of you who gave me the advice which led to my success.
The key was my contacting the landowner directly. I sent them pretty much exactly what I wrote here in my first post, and including the 2 documents, which gave irrefutable evidence of my accident, incapacitation, and inability to retrieve my car from ECP's car park.
I will now be formally complaining to ECP (yes, I know completely pointless!) and asking them to explain why they rejected my original Appeal, when their own Code of Practice, to which they were signatories AND which was binding from 1st Oct 24, clearly showed they should have taken into account my medical emergency.
Following that, I will also complain to the BPA about ECP's handling of my Appeal and failure to adhere to the Code of Practice.
Incidentally, the correspondence I've received from ECP cancelling the PCN is minimal and completely unprofessional. Their email is as follows:Dear customer,
Please be advised that after further consideration the notice is cancelled and no further action is required.
Regards,
Customer service
The email has no letterhead, doesn't mention my name, doesn't give the sender's name, and is undated. And no explanation, no apology. A complete disgrace, but no doubt you will say absolutely in keeping with ECP's general attitude to their 'customers'.
Please could you also post in SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCs with a link to this thread and tell everyone who to contact and which site and parking firm your case is about.
That gets seen much more than single threads.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Or dispute. Or challenge.Much more apt words than appealing, which is a legitimacy word to add credence and draw parallels with genuine penalties, not mere invoices.2 -

Hi, further to the above saga I decided to lodge a Complaint on the Euro Car Parks website using their complaints procedure. Despite reading that "a full response to your complaint will be issued within 28 days" I have heard precisely nothing, no acknowledgement to the complaint, and no response!
As you probably know ECP have NO telephone number to call them (unless to pay the charge) so I'm at a loss how to get back to them to find out if or when they are going to respond. Has anyone got any suggestions?1 -
BPA Complaint that ECP have not responded to a valid complaint.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi readers Euro car parks thrive on misery and get rich by issuing and chasing payment they persistently reject representations making you either to appeal to POPLA. However Their is no legal requirement to appeal to POPLA nor are their decisions binding upon the appellant, only Binding on Euro car parks only the county court can decide and settle disputes but Euro car parks harass you by adding charges and sending your information to other debt collectors.
if you have a valid reasons to dispute the charge go to the land owner they may just order Euro car parks to cancel the ticket.
if they don’t, don’t pay them make them take you to court to prove their case. A court will not award anything to an inconsiderate company that does not recognise an emergency or even a breakdown etc
send a cease and desist letter and tell them you want to dispute their claim in the county court keep a record of this and then do the same with every other company they send your information too. Under the protection from harassment act you could make a claim against them for harassment of a disputed invoice debt if they ignore your dispute.
