  • Well, as I said above, I took the advice and withdrew my POPLA appeal, no going back now.

    BPA CoP sections 23.17 & 23.18

You must accept determinations made by POPLA.

You may not continue with a claim for debt-recovery against a driver, keeper or hirer if POPLA has decided against
    you and grants the appeal

  • Like I said, I've withdrawn my POPLA Appeal!

The whole concept of "appealing" an invoice is absurd.

Do you appeal your gas bill?

Depends, if the gas bill is correct in accordance to my usage then i would pay it. However, if the gas company tried to implement silly charges because i used gas ring 2 on the hob between 5pm and 6pm, instead of gas ring 1 as mentioned in their fine print; I would contest it. same if they try to invoice for more than I actually used, etc

Sorry to hijack, but I keep seeing people say to contact the landowner, but how do you know who that is?

I’ve also had a notice from Euro Car Parks for Cheltenham (North Place) but as far as I can see, the car park is owned by ECP? So not a lot I can do sadly

    Good luck btw OP

Almost guaranteed that ECP do not own the car park.

@blizeH, if you want help with your parking issue then please start a new thread about it.

Complain about it to your local MP too, asking them to lobby for the full and final implementation of the Private Parking Bill 2019 with the MHCLG ASAP, as well as anybody else who maybe should be involved

Plan A worked yet again, well done for sticking with it
