Good evening guys, I sent my n244 form in on the 20/11/24 and paid on the 21st, I did receive an acknowledgment email, but nothing since, how long does it take to usually hear back?

On the 25/11/24 I received an email from DCB Legal asking for proof that I did not live at the previous address at the time which I replied too with proof, I have not heard anything since
on 27/11/24 I recieved an email from DCBL saying judgement has already passed and I need to ring up and pay.

i assumed the email from DCB legal was off of the back of my n244 but I’ve since realised it was a reply to my very first email to DCB legal about a consent to set aside and that’s why dcbl replied too as I had cc’d them in.

Also yesterday 30/11/24 I received another letter from DCBL fairly threatening. Do I need to notify them that I have applied for a set aside?

Just getting abit edgy as the last thing I want is bailiffs turning up on top of Christmas

    thanks

    Bailiffs won't be turning up.
You need a lot of patience with this

They will not send a bailiff because for cases under £600 that requires using a county court service that makes them no money.

Basically you are completely safe because if's under £600.  Nothing will happen.

Do I need to notify them that I have applied for a set aside?
Yes, may as well email DCB Ltd and cc DCB Legal telling them to wind their necks in and shut up and that you paid for a set aside application 10 days ago and will hold them liable for causing the CCJ and the £303 fee.

I said this only last week on another exact same thread, did you miss it?  Try searching:

Good evening, how does this sound for an email to DCB Ltd and cc in DCB Legal?

    Reference number: xxxxxx

    Dear Sirs,

On the 30/11/24 I received a threatening a threatening letter from yourselves regarding an unpaid CCJ.
On 20/11/24 I made an application to the CNBC to set aside the CCJ incorrectly entered against me on 23/09/24 as I did not live at the address the claim was entered under, even though I had notified the claimant of my address change on 14/7/24 which has obviously been deliberately or negligently over looked.
The £303 fee has been paid. I will be seeking reimbursement of all costs.
please refrain from the pestering threatening letters trying to scare me into paying a bogus CCJ that was claimed incorrectly under direct breach of CPR 6.8

    Regards

    my name

    Good except for this repetition:

Good evening guys, I never received a response to my last email, also I haven’t heard anything from the court apart from an automated acknowledgement the day I sent it (20/11/24)
is this normal to not hear anything?
    Thanks
