Trading 212 Cash ISA

Yesterday I opened a Trading 212 cash ISA account with the intention of transferring my Virgin E saver amount into it. Using the instant bank transfer system I logged into my Virgin account fine but was then told there was a problem and was returned back to Trading 212 deposit funds page, this happened on three occasions so I then attempted to transfer a small amount from my Santander savings account instead and again logged into the account fine, chose my account for the transfer then a screen opened saying that's all we need and was again returned back to the deposit funds page. However I was not asked about an amount to transfer and no funds at all have transferred.
Finally I set up a bank transfer on the deposit funds page for the Virgin E saver but unfortunately Virgin are having internet banking issues at the moment, I have attempted to close the Virgin account and transfer to Trading but the security texts they are supposedly sending to proceed I'm not recieving.
Is there usually issues with the instant bank transfer system, it's worrying I enter all the security details and log into accounts for nothing to seemingly happen.

You are trying to transfer from a Savings account?Maybe would be better trying a transfer from a current account?0

I've had no problems using the system to transfer funds from Santander and Natwest. I did a transfer from Santander this morning in fact.
You should be asked how much you want to transfer in the Trading 212 app, before you are sent to the other bank to select the account and go through their security steps.0 -

When I press deposit funds, it asks me to choose which bank/account to take the funds from (Santander or Natwest, which are the two I've set up). I can also choose to connect a new account.
When I choose the account, I get a screen asking for the amount. It defaults to £1,000 but there is a slider bar that you can drag to increase or decrease it. Then a button that says Pay.
Pressing Pay takes me to the a screen with a 'Go to bank' button. Pressing that opens the bank's app for me to log in and authorise the payment. And that's it - my bank app confirms the payment has been made, and sends me back to Trading212.
If it's a new account you have to go through the Connect Account routine first, then you can go through the steps above to make the deposit.1 -

Try using a current account. Savings accounts don't always work through open banking as they're not classified as payments accounts (though never had a problem Chase savings accounts but they seem to be current accounts in all but name).

If you're having trouble it might be linked to Virgin's issues today. Have you got a different account you can try, even if just to move £1 to test it?1
