You say it was insured for £30.
So why have they told you they won't pay up?

They lost it, plain and simple, and they won’t pay up.
If the former, then what's their process - might they return to the sending point for you to collect?0 -

The Op is saying Yodel have no record of collecting it.0 -
That’s correct. Shop doesn’t have it. I phoned them.
To be clear, I sold an item on eBay. I took it to a shop (Jempsons) where Yodel have a collection point. I was given a receipt, which I still have. Yodel were to deliver this to the buyers address. Somewhere along the line, I saw the item would be insured for £30, can’t remember where. The eBay buyer never received it. I feel I can trust him, as there was a lot of correspondence and patience his end about not receiving it. I ended up giving him a full refund.
Yodel only refunded me for the postage. It was a mini cosmetic fridge, which was worth £30, and it was new. I sold it for £11. So not much of loss, but it’s the principal. I’ve heard a lot of bad press about Yodel. They shouldn’t be able to get away with this. I was just wondering if there is any other recourse to make this account table? Obviously, I do t want to pay legal fees! Thank you0 -

No more. Just wanted to see if any one knew here on the forum somewhere to report this. Trustpilot?

That’s all I was after… the sale price of £110

Don't Jempson's get a receipt from Yodel when Yodel collect it? Have you asked Jempson's?
(I don't see the point in Jempsons giving a receipt to start a "chain of custody" if it isn't continued all the way down the line. The OP has proof that he or she dropped the item off at Jempson's, bu they have no idea where it now is except they don't have it. Jempson's need to find it... )0 -
is the receipt from the retailer , or is a receipt showing Yodel?
Where are parcels stored until collected? Our Evri collection point stored them in a supermarket trolley sitting at the side, in front of the counter. Amybody could have helped themselves to a parcel when no one was watching.0 -
Jempsons are presumably contracted as a Yodel agent so Yodel are responsible although they may never have seen the parcel. Presumably the next stage is a formal complaint.
