Maybe something to do with your popup blocker settings or similar?Aged said:
Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about. If I press on 'full search' or any of those other buttons, nothing happens. I'm viewing via laptop.eskbanker said:
I didn't say that it's displayed as a column, but if you use their 'full search' facility you can filter the results to show ISAs which accept transfers.Aged said:
I am not seeing that on Moneyfacts - only columns for AER, Account Type, Term, Interest Paid and Managing Account.eskbanker said:Moneyfacts allows filtering by transfers within its full search window.
When I access the main ISA page:
and click on the 'full search' button it displays this:

OK. Google Chrome blocks pop-ups by default. Thanks.0

FWIW, I transferred a cash ISA containing previous year's subscriptions into a Charter ISA a couple of years ago, having already opened a cash ISA with that tax year's ISA allowance elsewhere. This is standard practise and has always been allowed, so the recent ISA rules changes have't affected this particular aspect.Aged said:I then tried to open a new ISA directly with Charter Bank, but again they seem to screen out the option to open a new ISA if you have already subscribed to an ISA for 24/25. I thought about answering 'no' to the question about whether I already have a current year ISA, but I was not comfortable with basically telling an untruth so decided against.
The wording in many of these ISA application processes is gearing towards people opening them with new subscriptions rather than transfers of previous years subscriptions, which is annoying. If I was asked that question at the time then I would have answered 'no' as I was happy I wasn't breaking any ISA rules.2 -
Hi, thanks, I've done that now as it's clearly allowable, but let's face it, it's simply wrong and very misleading.refluxer said:
