Hi All,
Apologies for any miscommunication or misunderstanding to this point.
On Saturday my OH received a letter from CNBC dated 4th November.
TAKE NOTICE THAT
1. This is now a defended claim
The defendant has filed a defence, a copy of which is enclosed
2. It appears that this case is suitable for allocation to the small claims track
If you believe this track is not the appropriate track for the claim, you must complete box C1 on the Small Claims Directions Questionnaire (Form 180) and explain why.3. You must by 21 November 2024 complete the Small Claims Directions Questionnaire (Form N180) and file it with the court office
the CNBC
and serve copies on all other parties.0 -

One complication here is that you are the go between, so ascertaining exact facts is proving difficult
I think that it's clear where we are in the process (wife downloads and fills in the digital version of the N180 and sends 1 copy to CNBC and the other copy to DCB Legal(?)
Thanks for all replies.0 -
Yes, that is the stage she is at, because its been received by her, but not logged onto her MCOL claim history yet, if she has emailed it. ? ( If not, she should do so to both ). Then keep checking the MCOL claim history until its been logged, then check it periodically until the CNBC transfer the case to her local nominated civil court
The local court deals with it once the whole case has been received, the CNBC has no further involvement

Yep!
Then after that, it'll be the 3 minute 'no offer thanks, goodbye!' Mediation phone call.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
