Planning to put 4k on opening a LISA. This will achieve the 25% bonus in the first year. Question is, do you need to put 4k in every year to get the maximum bonus?

Yes, you will get the £1000 bonus if you put in £4000 this year.

The bonus is 25% of any new money you add each tax year and the maximum you can add each year is £4000.
