Holiday suggestions please

I want to buy my mother a holiday for her and her partner for her 50th birthday. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Requirements:

Under £1000
Hot Weather
During the summer holiday

Main problems I have:

Both are vegetarian
One is tee total - so although I'd like all inclusive not many packages seem worth it.

I have looked into cruises but cant find anything for under £1000 during the summer. easycruise included too many add ons.

Any suggestions

Canadian affair,£99 or less each way to Toronto.
They are advertising in the Times travel supplement at weekends.

Toronto is a great place they will love it.
PS It can be very hot and there is plenty to see and do.

my folks love Menorca

However, its quite close to home, so if they are well travelled then maybe something further a field would be more relevent

Where have they been before?
Do they like culture or british bars or a mixture

fueterventura is also very nice (apparently)

when in the summer ? there is a cruise leaving Southampton on the 30th May for around your budget for 14 nights to the med with NCL

Thanks for the tips. It would have to be the summer holidays as they are teachers - so basically August - high price time.

Also would prefer to fly from exeter. Which makes it even more difficult.

I think they like a quite of culture. So Ibiza (the party side) would be there idea of hell!

What about somewhere like Tunisia?

A lot of culture, lots to do, varied cuisine for vegetarians, good climate................

Also, you may be able to get some good deals to Goa if you can find flights for £99!

Am assuming its better (or rather cheaper) to book everything seperately than gte a package holiday?

As for the vegetarian site - brilliant idea but why is it when they say vegetarian they wack the price up - surely vegetarian cuisine is cheaper?!
