Court Claim from DCB Legal frozen in time

Hey all ;

yes i've read the newbies yes I am aware of the steps that I must be doing.

Going through a Claim from DCB from a fine in 2018 like so many others on here with a historical parking ticket.

I got to the N180 Stage which i submitted back to the court in august 2023.  over a year later bar some attempts from DCB to call me which I have never been able to answer.

and other than that nothing. no letters or anything from the courts.  Is this normal for such a long long wait? i assume I maybe at the bottom of a very big pile.....

But yes is the advice to remain waiting......?

many thanks

    Hello there;

    No i havent moved at all still in the same property :)
  • in addition to this, checking my credit reports theres no CCJ against me,  although i would be astounded if I did because I've had no contact whatsoever from the courts.

    Here you go, when i put in the claim no. with the passkey by the way it says its incorrect and dont give me nothing.  I 200% responded via MCOL as per directed in the newbies when i got the claim form in April 2023

    Phone the CNBC helpline with the claim reference number and ask for clarification on where it is up to

    Or

    Email them on the claim management email address and give them the details and ask for the details and claim history due to hearing nothing further

    ( You should have replied earlier with the additional inability to check the claim due to the passkey issue. )

    well to be really honest this is something thats been so long that I didn't really think about it because you naturally forget when you hear nothing.  from my end I have done everything required from me following the Newbies thread meticulously.
  • I have occasionally as said above received calls from DCB Legal i assume asking to bargain a settlement but everytime they called i've been placed on hold for like 30 mins to which i refuse to have my time wasted
