Nationwide Building Society - changes to Cash ISAs / Savings Accounts / T&Cs

I received a couple of emails from Nationwide this afternoon. They will be changing the names and also account numbers for various savings accounts, in particular ISAs:
“we are taking steps to simplify … by reducing the number of products we have and by making some changes to bring older, off-sale accounts in line with our latest products. This may include the removal of some functionality where we see it is not being used by many customers”
The Cash ISAs I have, which will be renamed early next year:
Loyalty Single Access ISA 2 … will become … Reward Single Access ISA
Instant ISA Saver 19 … will become … Easy Access ISA
It would appear they are replacing the single account number/roll number/reference number for my ISAs with individual sort codes and account numbers from 6th February 2025.
Further information about upcoming changes to savings accounts here:

Also, Nationwide are removing the CHAPS facility offered on their savings accounts from February 2025.
Funds will have to be transferred to one of their current accounts to make a CHAPS payment to another account.
Alternatively, when you receive your new sort code and account number, there will be an option to send money to an external nominated account, subject to payment limits.1 -
Just a reminder that Nationwide Building Society changed some of their savings product names on 1st February 2025 and, from today*, single account numbers/references will be replaced with sort codes and account numbers on applicable products. These changes may not be shown straight away.
- Interest will now be paid yearly on the day before the anniversary of when the account was opened, not on 31st December, if it was paid yearly.
- Monthly interest option no longer available - interest will be paid yearly, not monthly, on applicable accounts.
- Interest can only be added to the savings account, not to a different account.
- Nominated accounts will be introduced where applicable, see below.
You will get your new sort code and account number at some point after February 2025. We cannot confirm the exact date this will happen, but we will send these to you as soon as they are ready.A nominated account is an account you can send money to directly from your Nationwide savings account. It will become available on instant access and limited access accounts. Without a nominated account, it will not be possible to make withdrawals directly from your Nationwide savings account to a current account you hold with another provider.
* overnight maintenance planned:
