@redofromstart - what a funny coincidence - we did considerably less walking than you did though! Waterloo station to Southbank Festival Hall, then along the river following the footpath past the tourist area then took a back road to Lambeth palace, and then down a few other non-touristy roads back to Waterloo station. About 9000 steps and that was more than enough!

I post from my laptop, @rtandon27 , and I've had quite a few instances of posts simply not allowing themselves to be posted. I come back, usually a few days later, and find them still sitting in the box ready to hit send - but I've already done that and nothing happened. No problems so far with the second attempt at sending.

I'm probably talking rubbish, because you know what a luddite I am. But I find now that the computer is "auto-saving" as I type, I lose less posts. The post either stays in the box (unposted, as others have said), or worst case scenario, it is still in "my drafts". But I agree, sometimes you press "post". and it takes an age to actually stick itself onto the thread. The slight advantage now is that the post is still "somewhere" - previously, without autosaving, many a post got lost to the ether. And you know how I rabbit 🐰 on in every post…..

That's a good point @Greying_Pilgrim : I'm not losing posts, they just aren't posting every time. It's certainly a bonus not to find some long script has vanished without trace.

I hadn't thought about it in terms of not loosing posts but you are both correct - they are not going up into the ether! - I am however having to do a good spell check visually as my inbuilt spell-checker does not work and for some reason some of the words are appearing twice or even part words being added in! This has reminded me how dependent we have become on technology tools and how little I exercise my own brain on the simple things!

Wow - I've been up since the crack of dawn! - my half awake self thought it was a work day so up I got. Half way through showering I realized it was Saturday so proceeded to do a hair wash and body scrub with lotions and potions!
It was sunny but below zero first thing, nevertheless if felt like Spring was in the air. I realized that many of those potions were coming to an end so finished them up and had the fun task of picking some sping scented items from the stores. Bodywash is now FaithnNature Grapefruit & Orange, only got through half of it last summer - Bar soap is cleanly scented Pears - Olive hair conditioner is empty and the matching shampoo almost finished so have brought out the moisturizing stuff for coloured hair which has a light floral scent. Still using the Finnish serum and moisturizer for winter skin, but atm my very dry skin is lapping it up! Also have tossed out the icy clear lip balm from January which was starting to smell mouldy & just plain off and have replaced it with a lightly tinted version of the same balm. I find that lip balm only last about 3 months so just buy them at 75% off in the sales and then pitch them guilt free as the seasons change. Hand products are still going strong - green apple scented cuticle and hand moisturizer. Foot tratments are currently perscription as I've just been to the podiatrist so no fun to be had there, but plenty to choose from in the stores once sandal season arrives.
So this weekend's list is needed & I've been at the housework for a good 4 hours now with Saturday cooking shows playing in the background!

I love the imagined smell of all the new toiletries! What a good idea, to change them for spring.
I need to be sensible and allow myself some grapefruit scented items. I'm not supposed to eat or drink grapefruit as it clashes with my medication, but for some reason my brain tells me not to have it in shower gel either! I very much doubt there's any logical reason to restrict myself though.
May I ask about the Finnish serum please? It might be one for me to try next winter.
