Just wanted feedback to decided if it's worth listing the following. So Would you buy and what would you be willing to pay via eBay for my used 10 year plus Samsung 43" smart TV in full working order,(original price about £400+) except has some screen burn IE near top to middle of screen from left to right has white shadows approximately 10p coin size, about a dozen in 5 rows, one on top of other. Only really visible during dark scenes! But other than that it's perfect picture.
I will hopefully post some photos later!

Surely much depends on how much you want for it? There is always a buyer if the price is right1

Personally, I would be giving it away as a £400 smart TV 10 years ago was not a high end model then and without any faults its worth maybe £30. With burn in maybe £10 if you can find someone willing to pay it.1

I suspect it isn’t worth a buyer paying the postage frankly , for the effort involved and the likelihood of there being issues I’d try selling locally, and if that fails, just try and give it away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Old Samsung smart TVs in perfect working condition fetch a little over £100 on eBay if they sell at all , postage is high And you’d need to arrange some sort of specialist courier with full insurance and not just send boxed and hope for the best. By the time you add the word damage or screen burn in the title, sell it as in poor condition (I wouldn’t chance going any higher than fair, certainly no where near good), you’re probably looking at 10% of that and then you’ve got to question if it’s worth it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Also add if LCD then it is a tank in modern terms and nobody wants that.1

Flat screen TV's have modular components that are easy to unplug and plug in, it is worth opening the back of the TV and looking at the various circuit boards, usually no more than 3, if they are working they can be sold individually as there is a market for them. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube explaining how to repair a TV as examples of what can easily be replaced with no technical knowledge, I have repaired my own TV in this way and I know nothing about electronics, all I had to do was search for the part number which was on the old board and find a used but working one on ebay.2
