I would assume (hope) that you have a police report relating to a collision,damage and injury since a bus allegedly jumped a red light and collided with you.
 

Use this to pursue the bus companies insurance or get yours to chase it as the 3rd party.

I am assuming that the OP was actually in a vehicle- whether the details are willingly vague or unintentional isn’t quite clear

If you are just fishing for more (any) money then it won’t be easy with vague information and details

Appears they've already been offered £1k so its not a dispute on liability but a dispute on quantum for which the police report will be useless... the police dont opine on the value of pains, suffering and loss of amenities of the OP nor if a phone subsequently not working is a result of the incident or not.

Its a portal claim, its was introduced after I left claims, but the OP states that it was last year and my understanding of the portal is that it gives 3 months for liability to be resolved
