I even rang up Vanguard to discuss if there's an 'opt-out' option for the 'hands-off' managed version of their Stocks & Shares ISA for fossil fuel funds etc, but unsurprisingly it doesn't exist. (However they did make a note of it, so maybe in the future...)Vanguard have several funds available direct to consumer with exclusions (like fossil fuels). They also have their Activelife Climate Aware multi-asset fund range.
However, off-the-shelf solutions have to be light touch. If you take the ethical approach more seriously, then you typically need to filter the fund choices more.
