You don't cancel with your current provider if you are moving your number to a new provider. Doing so can cause the OP issues with that transfer, so please don't be making such suggestions.
If you are moving provider, as long as you are out of the committed term of your contract then you just get the PAC code from the current provider and give that to your new provider. The new provider then instigates the switch and part of that process cancels the service with the current provider. Any tallying up of fees is then done and taken via the same DD that is currently in place, so don't cancel that until all of the final bills have been settled.1 -

As you're out of contract with the SIM card, I think you can do better than £25/month if you push Vodafone. And you can save money by not bothering with ani-virus, Google Play store scans the phone.Thank you.I think this might be the best option. There seem to be so many different choices available and things to consider that it can feel overwhelming.Like you say, it's probably best if I go with something similar.0 -

My Vodafone online account states that I have an airtime plan for £24.68 a month with 120GB red data and 40GB additional data, 5G, unlimited minutes and texts and that the 24-month contract ended in March.I've looked at SIM only Vodafone offers and after 8GB their next option when looking into their offers is 20GB.I chose 20GB because I sometimes go over 8GB in a month.Their best offer seems to be a 12 month airtime plan with 20GB, 5G Ultra, unlimited minutes and texts for £24 a month. It isn't worth switching to this plan.I was thinking that maybe the best thing would be to get a new Samsung phone, possibly the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G or Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and look into other SIM deals (such as Lebara) because my 24 month contract with Vodafone has already ended. How would I transfer my data and contacts etc over to my new phone?Thanks0

The A34/54 you mention get 5 years of security updates (from launch, 03/23) and 4 generations of Android versions.
Notable among recent Samsung releases is the A16 5G (£200) that will get 6 years of security and Android updates, this is now their update policy on new A series phones.1 -

Is the Samsung A16 5G more up to date than the A34 or A54?I assumed that the higher number, the more up to date the phone would be but is that wrong?0 -
I got a wallet and silicone gel case for my Samsung Galazy S8 that I particularly liked.I've attached photos of them below. Are there wallets and and silicone gel cases that would fit either the Samsung A34 5G, Samsung A54 5G or Samsung A16 5G in the same way?
