Transferring Cash ISA with both previous year and current year deposits

I want to transfer a cash ISA as the interest rate is dropping next month.
The issue is it has both previous year (8K) and current year (2K) contributions, does the new provider get a breakdown of previous / current year when I transfer so it doesn't affect my current year allowance. I don't want them to mark 10K againest current year contributions.
thanks in advance.

By transferring through the new provider you’ll complete the transfer form declaring if you are transferring previous and/or current year’s subscriptions. I’m assuming you are transferring funds that are penalty free.1

Thanks Warslet, first time transferring to different provider, good to know you can specify between previous / current.
The remainder of this years allowance already used in S&S ISA so was concerned about going over limit, thanks for the info.0
