Follow plan A in the first post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements by coupon mad, get it cancelled by Lidl or by the landowner if its not Lidl, showing proof of patronage for both occasions
As its a retail park, you probably need to complain about the PCN to the retail park management company, the agent that manages the whole site
They have no idea if its one driver or two drivers, but are pursuing the single keeper using keeper liability under POFA 20122 -
Spent £50 that day in Lidl, ill be doing another shop today as well i'll ask to speak to the manager if ones available 🙄0
-
Also find out the details for the retail park management company contact, because both you and the Lidl manager need the agent to get the PCN cancelled, especially if the shops cant do so
Possibly Montreaux Developments Ltd. ?
https://www.montagu-evans.co.uk/projects/acquisition-of-ilford-retail-park-and-redevelopment/
Lee Baron is mentioned in the following thread
https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/lidl-car-park-ilford-parkingeye/15/
The tenant, the Lidl manager did nothing, except to state that an appeal to Parking Eye should be made
Note, the Parking Eye sign does state, No return within 1 hour
You have received the parking charge invoice from the contractor employed by the retail park, nothing to do with Lidl per se ( or Farmfoods or any other businesses on that retail park. ). Dont let the shops aspect mislead you on who the people with the powers actually are3 -
Lol just seen that thread interesting, deffo gonna pop down later and have a look at the sign's 👍🏽
Also are grace periods a real thing ?
Right straight to plan B for me then ?0 -
Check the BPA CoP for the guidelines like consideration periods and grace periods, plus any other details you require
Check POFA 2012 regarding keeper liability in England and Wales
Plan B is unlikely to work, because the pictures prove that the vehicle appears to have returned in less than one hour
Plan C ( Popla. ) is unlikely to work either
Plan A is the only real option here, unless there are legal points that may work but I doubt it2 -
Only went back because i forgot the water bottles🤦🏾 ill take the pcn with me see what lidl says if they can help, if not email the CEO1

I told you what you need to do and the correct people to complain to
The rest are sideshows and likely to fail, meanwhile the clock is ticking
The complaint to Lidl failed in the FTLA link I posted1 -
Sorry first time doing this how i do found out whos the parking management company?0

By all means try Lidl, take a copy of the PCN, or let them take a copy but keep the original, same with receipts or bank statements, expect to be fobbed off, so ask them to start with, but don't waste more than a day on your Lidl complaints ( it didn't work in the FTLA link I posted earlier. )
Then concentrate on the retail park management company, which seems to have been LaSalle of JLL, but is possibly Montreaux or a sub agent of theirs ( big companies or pension companies or investment companies tend to own big retail parks, not the shops. you want the people who would get a leaky roof fixed, not the shopkeepers who are getting wet. It may be JLL or Savills or similar ). You want the Organ Grinder, not the dancing monkey
Nobody said it was easy, but talking to the correct people to start with after information gathering is key to getting plan A to work , striking whilst the iron is hot
Plans B & C ( appeals ) and even plan D ( court. ) are all likely to fail for you IMHO

I would tell them that you won't be shopping there today (or whenever you pop back) or ever again, if every visit comes with a £100 surcharge. If it has not been too long since your first visit tell them you are returning the goods for a refund!3
