    Is it best to pay
Certainly not.  And you don't want to pay less. You want to pay nothing.

When the claim form arrives this will be as easy as all the other Moorside cases, using the Template Defence with Chan and Akande.

    Search the forum for:

    Moorside POC defence

Since I am moving again soon, when and how (email?) should I provide Moorside my new address?

I searched for it but many threads coming up, do you have a specific thread you suggest of using? Each thread is slightly different and it's my first time using this forum.

I am wondering whether NCP sent a fine initially, but because I was late in changing my address in my v5c, it might have gone to my previous address.

    Thanks

Wait for the LoC then use the template LoC/LBC reply which includes the address issue.

And my suggested search was obviously designed to get a few results. That's the whole point of good research! And they are NOT different at all.  The pattern is exactly the same in every Moorside thread. The idea is, you read all of them and the penny drops regarding how easy it all is, and then you'll know what to expect.

    Hello,

Still waiting for the LoC (they just sent another letter proposing to pay in 3 installments).

Out of curiosity, when the LoC arrives and I use the template to respond, how long does it usually take to be "all clear" from this?

    Thank you.

Show us the letter. I want a few Moorside letters as evidence for Government please.

Re your question: if you mean how long does a court claim take to reach a hearing, it's about 11 months from start to finish if there's a hearing. Shorter, if they discontinue after a few months when they see you 'ain't no victim'!

I can send one when I get back home.

Oh I thought using the template was to clear out the situation with Moorside - didn't realise that I cannot skip the hearing in the court. Thanks

Nobody said you'd have a hearing.

    Please show the letter.

Here is the first letter below (I also received a second one proposing instalments...)
No letter before claim or letter of claim yet.

I cannot find a moorside legal email in the forum, can anyone provide their email address to contact them?
    *Update* found this: help@moorsidelegal.co.uk

    Ignore of course.

You can see that's no different than the pics I've already included in the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread.
