Hi everyone I'm trying to use my companion voucher to book the return leg of my journey. I am planning to get business class 1 way from singapore to London. I understand that the voucher gets us 50% off the avios amount. I need to pay £203 + 45000 miles - I have 10k miles at the moment, so just looking to fill the avios…

There have been occasions where the official line (award tickets are allowed in lounges) has not been dealt with correctly by lounge staff - due to not understanding the rules correctly. This was queried with QR head office on a few occasions and they have confirmed it’s allowed. And as stated they still count as revenue tickets - the ones not allowed are industry reductions - staff tickets essentially.
