Thank you @siju , everything was fine. Procedure wasn't as bad as I was expecting, there was no additional wind (much to my DH's dismay
) but I'm running on about 3 hours' sleep and a 3.45am alarm so will be going to bed shortly! The accompanying bloods I had done show that my thyroid is on the fritz (it's been stable for about 12 years) and I'm now pre-diabetic - because, why not?! But that's for next week.

Just realised I haven't posted anything since I started.
I'm not really sure what's in the pot, as I've popped the odd coin in now and again, but I'm guessing around £8.70?!£2 Saving Club 2024 #3 £12.003 -
Glad things went well @MrsShazbat Enjoy some well deserved rest.
Sounds like a far from pleasant experience so no doubt you’re pleased that it’s done.
I’m still adding coins regularly and it feels like it’s building up to a very good total27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 53 -

Hello SPCers! I hope you've had a lovely weekend and will have a really good week ahead. To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPCWell done with the £30 back LMD!Oh dear I can certainly sympathise with you over having to have a Colonoscopy MrsShazbat, horrible things, especially the liquid diet! 😩 I've had to have 2 and swore I'd never have another as they're so vile!! 😮💨 I don't mind the actual colonoscopy, but that vile lotion is disgusting! Our daughter was supposed to have one a little while ago as she caught something in the water at Exmouth beach 😮💨. She refused the Colonoscopy (due to prior experiences) and was told she could have a Sigmoidoscopy instead and that worked out so much better.I hope you caught up with your sleep.Try putting your Plum workings out in your diary, hopefully, it'll stay in your mind far better.Take care with any sweet things, alcohol etc, our friend was told she was pre-diabetic, the next lot of bloods showed her to be stage 2 diabetic. 🤨 Just take care. It's always good to have comforting wishes Siju, bless you.Ooh excellent potting Lost!! 🤗 I hope you're both well too.Whatever's in your pot Milki, it'll come in handy for you as and when and will be a surprise. You're doing brilliantly Ant!! No doubt you'll be chuffed to bits come October! 😄I'm so pleased you enjoyed your time away Vicky! Excellent potting with your £100!! 😂SueHave a lovely TUESDAY and rest of the week, folksDeclaration Day for SPC 0025 is October 23rd.............BEFORE --- BUT NO LATER, please! If anyone would like to join the thread, please just ask at anytime and you will be made very welcome!Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j2

Hi all,
Sorry to have been MIA again, my mum passed away on Valentine's Day.
I have been adding to the coin pot whenever I get any change and the note pot if I'm feeling flush!
I too have to have regular colonoscopies after being diagnosed with cancer nearly 8 years ago. The loop is vile and actually makes me sick so I now take Dulcolax tablets instead. I am also diabetic. My annual colonoscopy is this Fridayso I'm going to be ultra hungry on Thursday and Friday morning.

Sorry for your loss @JynErso@Sue-UU- tbh I thought it was overall better than the HPV test, at least your knees are together!! It did occur to me today, that they took my bloods whilst I was on the low-fibre diet so I don't know whether that might have skewed the results a bit with all the white bread, white pasta, rubbish cereal, plain biscuits, etc., and I'm under no illusions that I'm having a hard time trying to lose weight this time around. Still, I went for a walk at lunchtime. Not many steps, but better than nothing. Tomorrow it's DH's birthday and we are going for our regular curry, however we're going to share rice and reduce our chapattis and poppadoms by half (so 1 each). I'm not doing it to be naughty, and DH is now quite worried about his situation as his eyes are being affected by his diabetes, but as I tried to explain to him - if he cuts out everything nice, he will resent it and stop being dilligent about his food. We still need something to enjoy and look forward to. Stop takeaways, absolutely, but our favourite curry is not negotiable and it's not like we're there every week. It's only birthdays/anniversary so 3 spread out times during a year.Plum has transferred £61.95 this week to the SPC.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

My condolences @JynErso 💔
Oh @MrsShazbat you are so right. It's all about balancing the good with the bad. Small changes can go a long way to helping. My Dad was told to watch his diet after a quadruple heart bypass in the 90s. His attitude was always cut down not cut out and despite the odds he prolonged his life by another 25 years.
Another five pounds this week. Enjoy the sunshine if you have it this week 😊SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.832
