Better dealing instore or on phone with mobile (Mr T***O) for upgrade more data?
Does anyone have experience of whether best deal can be negotiated instore on over the phone with Mr T***O. I am on a contract with 500mB of data, U/L minutes and texts, and would like to negotiate some more data. Also my partner now needs a mobile phone (first one!) but we think it will just be a SIM only contract. Not sure if dealing with someone instore, whether they have more negotiating 'power' or better off on phone to customer retentions etc......
Any advice welcomed, thank you.

It's so variable. Last time I 'phoned o2 to discuss a new contract, that lady told me about one much better than the one I had, I asked to sign to that, please, she said "You can only get that deal through our website, we can't offer it over the 'phone.
So I would recommend you try all options0 -

Happy to stay with Tesco mobile. Contract includes handset, contract ends mid Dec, can upgrade for free late November. Currently paying £7 per month, which includes discount. Apparently will get discount if partner gets SIM to, but have to confirm that!0

Do you want to stay with the O2 network (as used by Tesco) or are you happy to switch to someone running on Vodafone.
Lebara have some very competitive rates via the Uswitch website but if the Vodafone reception is poor in your area it's not worth switching. Uswitch quotes 3GB of data for £4.45 a month on a rolling 30 day contract.2 -

This on a rolling 1 month contract.

Mmmm food for thought! I prefer to have a handset included at this stage, but will look at the options, thankyou. Gone a bit off track, as only wanted to find out about instore vs phone deals!!0
