I have no idea what these mean, but this is the log, i think?0 -
Can you filter it on WAN?
Nothing in what you have put there is related to the ISP connection. Its also only a 1 minute period.
Quick check on the Vodafone forum and it looks like the log entry should be something like
[645976.512171] DROP wan in: IN=pppoe-wan OUT= MAC= src=93.174.93.231 DST=90.246.254.208 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=247 ID=31678 PROTO=TCP SPT=55932 DPT=15211 WINDOW=1024 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 MARK=0x8000000

The above is with WAN selected, it won't let me click on "show more" any more than 3 times 🤔0

Pretty sure Vodafone can see those logs and quality of the connection if they want to.You should go back to Vodafone and complain again and ask them to resolve it. If they aren't helping then go to their website and make a general complaint https://www.vodafone.co.uk/help-and-information/complaints (look for the online form). In the meantime stop using 'boosters' or any other crap just stick with the router and ethernet and if you have to use the wi-fi then use it. You should have your mind in test mode so the less stuff connected the better.Do you get similar test speeds throughout the day and night? https://www.speedtest.net/It sounds like the problem is in your house but if it isn't moving providers may not help.0

Drops consistently, no matter what time of day.
If I don't have 1 booster 7 metres away from the router, then wifi is unusable, unless I stand 2 to 3 metres from the router. It physically won't pick up anything.
The router is in a porch behind a thin door, with a brick wall 2 small bricks thick.
My main device use is phones, then laptop for work from next week, so I don't want to pay nearly £40 a month to only be able to use a laptop with an ethernet cable?
I have spoken to Vodafone complaints team and they said get technical to fix it. Technical based in Egypt have now said, "don't know, our wifi isn't always compatible".
I don't understand how the problem is the house if Openreach say it's ok their end, we have tried multiple devices, stood within metres of the router etc? Further away from the router? Can you help me, with what it could be in the house so I can investigate?
Thank you

You need to get the Vodafone technical team to be focussing on the drop outs. Fix that before dealing with the range side of it.
To deal with the range:
Option 1 is to move the router as it is in the worst place possible. As it is full fibre there will be an ethernet cable between the router and the modem point on the wall. Replace that with a longer cable to be able to move the router nearer to the centre of the house.
Option 2 is to buy a mesh router solution where the main router stays where it is but you place other devices around to boost the signal. Similar to extenders but better.
But focus first of all on the drop outs. If you can see in the logs that the WAN connection is dropping and then coming back up then Vodafone should also be able to see that and then need an engineer from OpenReach to come out ideally. That costs them money and Vodafone do not like doing it so you will have to be robust.1 -
Had Vodafone broadband at home & was fine for 3 months, then it got beyond. Similar situation to yourself really, was told there was issues at the exchange, which would have affected all my neighbours - none of whom had any internet issues (except for the one other house who was with Vodafone).
Long story short, I put complaints in & was allowed to leave penalty free after 5 months.0 -

Which provider did you go to and is it better?1 -
I've moved to Sky, haven't had one issue with them.0
