6 PCNs, preparing for Letter Before Claim

About me: I've previously fought 2 PCNs and won at POPLA stage with the help of the Newbies thread the forum.
Context for my current situation: My last year has been busy with divorce, moving house, rebuilding my life and keeping my children happy.
F*ing PCNs have been the last thing on my mind.
Just before I moved house, I had my car number plate cloned. The change in number plate, house move and divorce meant that updating my VC5 was a nightmare and I also put it off a bit.
So I didn't get any of the NTK letters.....
So here we are....
I currently have 6 outstanding PCNs, totalling £930.
Involved: M&S, Euro Car Parks, Debt Recovery Plus and 3 are on their way to Credit Style.
I missed appeal stage 1 for all of them,
I missed the POPLA appeal stage for all of them.
They are now all currently sitting with Debt Recovery Plus.
I went into the M&S store today (the landowner) to try to get them to contact Euro Car Parks to get the PCNs quashed. I was fobbed off.
I've emailed head office, so we'll see where that goes.
I've drafted my email to the MP and will send that tomorrow.
I know I'm still in 'Newbies' thread territory at the moment and just about holding my nerve.
But I'm not too sure I actually have a valid defence if this goes to court.
My question is this: If they do all go to court and I lose, how much more is this going to cost me than paying the £930 now?
Yeah, I'm a bit in fear mode to be fair.

Irrelevant thinking about that now just deal with things as they come2

It's always a no-brainer to defend a scam PPC claim regardless of facts.
Leave the fear behind. You can do this! We have got your back & will help you all the way.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am asking my MP to write to the landowner and PPC to support my case.
I have the contact details for the land owner, but do not have a contact for Euro Car Parks.
Any thoughts on what information I should give my MP for Euro Car Parks?0 -
Case Details:
- I had £1000 in parking charges.
- This substantial amount was due to Euro Car Parks sending penalty charge notices to an old address, which I was not aware of. As a result, I never received any of their communications, and they added new charges, which continued to accumulate.
- For additional context, they had my old address because, at the same time I moved house, my car number plate was cloned (which I reported to the police), which made updating my log book more complicated and took longer than usual.
- They issued six penalty charge notices, all of which were sent to the wrong address. Unfortunately, as I was unaware of them and unable to respond, the matter was escalated to a debt collection agency, who also continued to send letters to the incorrect address.
- Almost 50 letters in total.
- They threatened legal action
- I visited the M&S store (the landowner) and asked them to contact Euro Car Parks on my behalf to request cancellation of the PCNs. M&S holds ultimate responsibility for what occurs in the car park, but disappointingly, they fobbed me off.
- I exchanged multiple emails with M&S head office and they refused to help me
Appeal Process:- I did not appeal at any stage as I had not received any notifications.
- I sent a long email to my MP explaining everything and they were incredibly supportive. They sent an email to the PPC
- All 6 PCNs were cancelled.
- A lot of relief

Excellent - great news - who is the MP?2
-
As above, Excellent news
However, a point of order please
ECP don't issue Penalty Notices, they would have all been Parking Charge Notices from ECP
But the complaint route worked, so well done2 -
as above, these are not penalty charges and while it may seem pedantic, in some circumstances it can be critical to get this distinction right. From the Plain Language Commission:
