Virgin money ISA transfer out - how long to reach recipient bank?

For further timescale reference, i have just gone through the process of transferring a matured Virgin Money cash ISA into my InvestEngine S&S ISA. 

VM ISA matured on Thursday 24th October so it was placed into that measly 0.1% easy access ISA.
Instigated the transfer through InvestEngine (although i had to print off the transfer form so i could apply a "wet" signature). 
Signed the form, scanned and emailed back to InvestEngine who then confirmed they would now start the process. 
I was checking every day but the funds did not leave the VM ISA until 4th November. 

The money appeared today though (Tuesday 5th November) in my InvestEngine ISA. Not the quickest, but not as long as some stories that i have read.

It took four working days for my 08 sort code Virgin Cash ISA to be Transferred In to my Trading 212 Cash ISA.
Initiated the transfer on the T212 App late afternoon on 24th October and funds were received on the morning of the 30th October

Ditto. 4 days, 2 of which were a weekend, to transfer last week to my T212 S&S ISA.

T212 seems to have raised their rate this afternoon to 5.17%. It all adds up!

I understand the frustration, transfers can sometimes take longer than expected. I recently transferred my ISA from Virgin Money, and it took about a week for the funds to reach my new bank. They usually send the proceeds electronically, but delays can happen. If you're concerned, it’s worth calling virgin money contact number for an update. As far as I understood, this is the fastest way to figure it out.
