My wife has been with this company now since August 2024, and can't wait to transfer to Tesco pay as you go! Why I hear you ask, well during this time my wife has continually had problem with strength of signal, having difficulty obtaining a line to call, then when able to make the call, either she or the person taking the call can't hear what's being said. Then other times while having a good connection, the line just drops out. Majority of the time these calls are made from home and can be frustrating especially when in a queue waiting to get through to the GP!
Smarty's customer service is virtually non existent, despite numerous calls for help, you get different people going through the same "scripted" fault finding response without resolving the problem.
My advice would be to anyone considering joining them, BEWARE! Avoid like the plague!

Smarty works perfectly in my home - because the calls go over the wifi if mobile signal is weak. I've travelled through France and Switzerland with Smarty. Everything works smoothly and the prices I've been charged are all very reasonable.

Smarty, owned by Three supports wifi calling. Does you wife's phone support wifi calling and is it set up?
Tesco mobile uses O2, so provided you get a much better signal at home on O2 than you do Three then you may be better off if you can't use wifi calling.
