Section 75 on a Pram

I have checked why I thought that a retailer had to deal with the first year of a guarantee. It was because I was told this by the retailer, Then, when I was checking whether other retailers gave information on the weight of mattresses, that retailer had the same arrangement.I now realise it was only an arrangement with the same manufacturer. Thanks to all those who pointed out that there is no such law. I already had compiled enough evidence to prove that the retailer is deliberately misleading customers but this trick is the strongest evidence yet.I would easily have missed it if it had not been repeatedly raised so I am very grateful although a question to me as to why I thought it was the law would have avoided the issue dominating the OP's thread.0

I could but not sure that firstly they would be interested in helping and secondly whether Amex would accept them as someone to offer an impartial opinion on the failure of the pram and why it failed
Amex as other CC want a independent report (CC's are not experts on these subjects, or ever see the item). Without one, you are going to get nowhere, so take the advice given on different tacks (welding joke 🤣), phone round & ask.
Same with registering. You are losing out on the bonus of they could have repaired it.Life in the slow lane0
