I thought the same. But I'm not sure how they will relate the information to a particular person, so it can only be one part of the scam.

A school "educational" cruise back in the Middle Ages - sailed from Greenock to Gibraltar with port visits to Vigo (or was it Corunna ?) Lisbon and Amsterdam.

M.V. Dunera, had been a troopship in WW2 - bunk beds in a large dormitory with basic communal en suite facilities and no waiter service at meals !!!

I learned years later that the captain had been decorated for his Royal Navy service in the sinking of a U-boat !!!
