So today i have recieved a 'Notice of Propoised Allocation to the small Claims Track form'

not sure why a defence wasn't included in the letter

Obviously because that's your copy of the same standard letter sent to the Claimant.  You can tell that from the top, where (in your case) the word Claimant is crossed out.

You don't need to be served with your own defence!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Download the N180 DQ document,  fill it in and email it to the DQ email address,  plus CC the info email at dcb legal too

All explained in the 12 steps and in the newbies sticky thread second post

    excellent thanks!

only thing i'm strugling with is

D1 = NO to determination without a hearing*

    * the reason to put for saying NO to question D1 is linked in the NEWBIES thread.

I've searched the newbies thread for 'determination' 'D1'

After filing the Directions questionnaire to the correct email DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk in the specified timeframe I got a letter sent to me today to say I failed to file the questionnaire in the timeframe and i now need to do it in 7 days

I sent 2 emails - one on the 21st and one on the 24th asking to confirm receipt but got nothing back. I even Bcc'd my email to check it was getting through.

i just tried calling them but there was a massive queue (45 in queue)

Do people get a response via email to say its been recieved?

Yes they do, an auto email response,  to their inbox or spam folder

Email your N180 ASAP to the DQ email address,  then check both folders for the auto email response
