Octopus Legacy Wills and Power of Attorney

The octopus group bought a company named Guardian angels and renamed it Octopus energy and they now selling wills.
I have had a charge from this company made to my Amex claiming they look after my will and gave to pay £10 a year for them to look after it.
My will is with my solicitor and I have never heard of this company. Amex is investigating to how they got my details. In the meantime they keep hassling me trying to get more of details like my middle name and my address etc.
How can an energy company be allowed to access your personal information that is meant to be kept discreet.0
