Considering the panic and rumours about this new system it seems to be very effective. Even some of the doom mongers on other forums and even on the community boards have started saying that it is working much better than they had feared- and that's probably because of the many earlier posts saying how ebay weren't going to let us have our money and led to a number of posts where people claimed to not be listing things until ebay confirmed their money was going to be released. All that worry and mis reading of the announcement led to panic that wasn't necessary.
It was the same with the reduction in private sellers free listings, although I accept that for some very high listers listing over 300 'new to ebay' items a month this would have an impact. At the time there was a general panic that only 300 listings at all would be free, with any excess , even auto relists costing 35p a listing - and that led to some very high volume sellers ending several thousand listings at the end of September thinking they would be charged come October and not wanting to risk it. Those poor sellers are now faced with in some cases thousands of ended listings, all of which can only be listed 300 per month at a time to get back into the system which in some cases could take years allowing for the issue of them having new items to list as well.
Sometimes it does pay to actually read the announcement rather than see a headline and make assumptions, we see this in all walks of life where comments are made purely on a headline in a newspaper, without reading the full article first.
The way things are moving on with ebay I doubt it will be long until the next major change - whatever that will be, and we all just hang on for the ride.
Meanwhile I drew out my ebay balance again yesterday, and it hit my account within an hour- which I am very happy with.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. For those that are interested......I'm using an Amazon Tablet that comes with the Silk browser. I cant withdraw funds from my EBay account because it seems my browser isn't supported by Ebay. I've had to use some different equipment to get my money.0

Same problem here! 1) there is no "Seller hub" and 2) clicking on the blue banner on Payments takes me to FAQ's. It used to be so simple...0
