    Hello,

I’ve still not heard a decision - should I be chasing this or just leaving POPLA to it?

Last communication from them was an email on 11 Nov (“Your appeal is now ready to be assessed and is currently in a queue waiting to be allocated. We expect to make a decision on your appeal 6-8 weeks from the point that the appeal was first submitted. The next communication that you will receive from us will be the decision on your appeal.”) … but my appeal was ‘first submitted’ around 22nd Oct (can’t find exact date but that’s 13-ish weeks ago now?)

    Thanks for your advice

I think we are also waiting for a decision for @andromeda24 from around the same time. Looks like POPLA has some delays.

Very delayed. Just got my decision this morning after submitting in October I think?

But you won't be paying because in your case a rookie Assessor has made an error in law.

Thanks all, I had the decision yesterday - very lengthy, but appeal refused!

Email says “There is no further appeals process available to either party” and “you may wish to contact citizens advice” …?

Well you already know not to do that and that losing at POPLA is normal and unimportant. Please read the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread for your next stage.

Thank you, I’ll wait for (and ignore!) any debt letters.

Will also try to complain in the meantime - can you please advise how best to find the landowner details or should I just go to Greene King?

I did, but wasn’t sure if relevant to me - no receipts from the pub as we didn’t leave the car so not sure if they’ll be much help?

Will give it a try. Thanks again!
