Coupon-mad said:Yep you should admit to driving. It is inadvisable to hide that. And no need.
But DO NOT ADMIT TO OVERSTAYING!
Just write something vague with no timings whatsoever, and say no signs were seen so no purported contract was agreed or breached. The Claimant is put to strict proof of all their allegations. How does this sound:
On May 31, 2023, the defendant went to Southgate Park near Stansted Airport to pick up a family member. The defendant purchased a coffee from Starbucks at Southgate Park before going to the airport and states that no signs were visible indicating a time limit, asserting that no purported contract was seen, agreed to, or breached.

I've seen on a number of other issues at the same car park commenting on "No evidence of Landowner Authority" and also "Non-compliant signage", do I need to cover anything regarding that or is this more specifically for the earlier appeals stage?0

Both of those are already in the Template Defence!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad I had a letter from DCB advising the client intends to proceed with the claim and sent a questionnaire. Do I need to fill this in or wait for the court to contact me?0

You were expecting that weren't you?
Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...
Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list might be worth another read too.1
