Can anyone help please. I am getting a recurring fault on our heat pump, 'High heat distribution system delta (GT8/GT9)' each time we have got a local engineer to come and clean the particle strainer. The last time he came, we asked the question and he advised that we didnt need to get the radiators flushed through.
As we have the error again, first of all will the error damage the heat pump, if it is still running?
I thought I would have a go at cleaning the particle strainer myself. I have no experience of this. I know I have to turn it off the machine and the water via the red 'handle', then use a spanner to take off the big nut. As this is underneath the pipe and there isn't much space I am concerned that if I try to take out the circlip it will ping out and get lost at the back or underneath. The circlip pliers were not left here.
