Hi I have ignored all previous letters from dcbl ltd. Now I have this one from dcb legal ltd.
They are basically saying I was parked in McDonalds from 7/02/24 19:11 until 8/02/24. Which is obviously complete rubbish yet they have pictures with times on. I’ve checked my calendar and I had my mot on the 8th. I’ve check my bank as well and I did got to McDonalds on the 5th and the 8th. It’s really not fair as I never did this and they are scamming me. £170 they want please can someone help I think it’s too complicated for me 😭

Have you read the newbees thread?
Can you post a copy of the most up-to-date letter you have had with personal data redacted?
If the letters are from DCB Legal ignore them, we need to just wait until you get a letter from the court - thats when you can start defending and DCBL will eventually discontinue and you won't pay a penny.2 -
If you have a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal, then current thinking is that you should respond to that as described in the first few paragraphs of the second post in the NEWBIES thread.3

Sounds like two visits counted as one (a well-known ANPR system flaw). Know as a double dip. Easy to beat in court and you won't even have a hearing.
But try to head off the claim by replying to the LBC and telling DCB Legal that this is a 'double dip' ANPR error case & you will counterclaim for damages and harassment arising from data abuse if they now issue a claim where they know it is a double dip ANPR error situation, so no monies are owed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You do what the NEWBIES thread already coaches for this stage. Email the usual LBC response plus the extra section you need to add (and any evidence that your car was elsewhere, if you have anything).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I responded to them and didn’t receive any emails. Now they keep ringing and leaving voicemails should I speak with them over the phone? Thanks0

So I have now been sent a money claim I've responded and I'm currently writing out a defence. should I add the bit you said about 'double dip' in? also on the gov website it says the date my mot was done 8/02/24 (they said I didn't leave the car park from 7/02/24 19:11 until 8/02/24 15:57. do I add my transactions? and mention I have a disabled child so why would I leave my car there also had a job to go to. Sorry if dumb questions this is masking me stressed and worried.0
