I will have to check which ISP my MIL is with....
Is there anyone in the business who can advise whether her local shop is right in saying that dial up is being phased out - I personally think that it is a ruse to get her to sign up for £15 month broadband.

Thing is I have Low User Rebate from BT so I dont want Broadband cos in the end I will end up paying loads more
Is your MIL on Orange ?????
Strange, they let me make two new Dialup accounts the other day.
And I still have Freeserve, Fsnet and other accounts with them.0
