I have recently bought a Samsung galaxy A15 5G0

Huawei Watch 4 Pro or the latest Watch GT5 Pro.
You'll have to get over the mental hurdle of installing the required Health app from their App Gallery or directly from the Huawei website.
I've had no issues in the last 7 months, no Android warnings about it being a dodgy app and the Chinese haven't stolen any of my small fortune.
The Watch 4 Pro EGC app has prompted me, correctly, to get professional medical advice regards my heart arrhythmia.
Prior to that issue, it was great for tracking swimming, cycling and everyday activities.1 -
Then the Galaxy watch probably makes most sense.1

Definitely the Galaxy watch to work with the samsung, you don't need the latest Watch 7, go for the previous 6, some bargains about at the moment.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

The Garmin fitness trackers will work with any Android phone and many have all the features the OP has mentioned. Can be purchased for far less than the Galaxy watch and such like.1

I've had a Garmin watch for a while - works well for what I want to do. Bear in mind that Garmin comes more from a fitness background than the other watches. I think you need to look at the features they have really - some have more smart features, some more fitness features - see what you need really. Garmin for example is probably a bit behind with payment stuff compared to Samsung and stuff - but I don't want to pay with my watch so that didn't bother me!1

Oh and FitBit seem to have this whole paywall type thing to unlock every feature - which niggled me - I didn't want a watch I then had to have a subscription to so I could use all the features!1

Every feature? Their exercise and diet plans are behind a pay wall. Everything else is free. I don't pay anything for health monitoring. Sleep, heart beat, movement etc.1 -
