Land registry fraud?

    I'm not sure that's going to help any, it was reasonably clear from the OP what the issue is - i.e. the correspondence address for another property's proprietor happens to be the OP's home address. So a creditor has picked up on that as a potential correspondence address for the debtor company. It doesn't have legal implications beyond that.

    Unless RAS knows how to convince land registry to remove my address from the title register.

    And just to loop back to your original question... Having your address on the title register won't mean that the council can put a charge on your house as a result of somebody else's failure to comply with a section 215 notice.

    But I guess it's possible that other people (creditors etc) who are looking for the company might see your address and hassle you - which would be annoying.

    Exactly I wish there was a way to remove my address from there. The council will keep chasing the company at my address and who knows who else will be looking for them.

    Op, have you wrote to the council - both their legal team & the relevant heads of their department?

    I can't see how they can legally place a charge on your property when you have nothing to do with the company! You'd essentially be getting held liable for the actions of another person.

    Send them your title documents showing when you brought the house - how do the dates of your house purchase correspondence to the dates on the companies address land registry details? How do they correspondence to information on company house? I would imagine any difference in dates will support your argument!

    The first step is to make sure the relevant parties are aware if this and to pay attebtion to any correspondence sent to your address, incase there are any court dates etc...

    OK, so the legal documentation shows that YOU as an individual own the property? Or that neferious company own the property, but have just given your postal address?

    They have made that clear several times.  Not sure why you’re not getting it? (It’s the latter)

    So to summarise,

    Company X has bought a commercial property Y.

    On the title deeds of the commercial property Y, they have registered their ownership as X company, address OP. 

    Land Registry won’t change it, companies house won’t change it. You feel at risk from people who are owed money by company X coming after you at your address., when you have no connection to company X.

    Yes, except my address isn’t used by the company on companies house so there’s nothing to be changed.
    Also they’re not coming after me personally, they’re coming after the company at my address.

    Speak to your local Councillor, who can hopefully call off the hounds. Once those at the Council finally get there heads round the situation with a little member encouragement, they should stop contacting you.

    Looks like they are going to have to do the remedial work and perhaps slap a charge on the company's property.
