Well kind of what i expected Asda manager pointed out it was the retail parks agreement with the parking management company.Shopping centre management office had no staff present when i arrived only a security guard whos advice was to send the bank statement showing the transaction at asda on the day.
Do you suggest i come back when someone from the management team is present? Email them instead perhaps? Or go ahead and appeal with a copy of the transaction?0 -
I have always stated that you should complain about the PCN to the retail park management team or company and attach evidence of proof of patronage at Asda, this is usually done in writing, typically by email
Judging by what you stated in the last reply, it's exactly what I was expecting to happen and has only delayed the complaint in writing that should have gone to the people who employed the parking company, the retail park managing agent, whoever they are
I understand what you tried and why, but its a sideshow, no actual outcome because you have not complained in writing to the people who have the actual power to cancel the PCN, that management company
The first two replies back on page one told you what to do, by myself and by coupon mad1 -
I’ll be writing to the management company today with the attached evidence. Thought it may be dealt with quicker if i met them in person.
if i haven’t heard back by the end of the week i’ll go with plan B.1 -
No. The advice has not changed.saviola7 said:Well kind of what i expected Asda manager pointed out it was the retail parks agreement with the parking management company.Shopping centre management office had no staff present when i arrived only a security guard whos advice was to send the bank statement showing the transaction at asda on the day.

The complaint obviously goes to the retail park property agents (whose name & contact details are probably on the entry sign you drove past). Not ASDA and not the security people.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys,
Email sent as below just for reference. thanks.Dear Edmonton Green Shopping Centre,I live local to the shopping centre and am part of the local community, I have been to the shopping centre countless times and regularly shop from the Asda located here. Earlier this month I was shocked to receive a PCN from your parking operator G24. I vividly remember shopping at Asda on the day of the alleged PCN as I came to Asda after dropping my child to school. I know we need to register our cars for free parking using the tablets at the Asda store which i ALWAYS do and again did so on this day. I have attached a screen shot from my banking app to show the transaction made at the store on that very day.I have also attached an image with the PCN details. Are you able to kindly contact G24 parking services and get them to cancel this PCN. I am still at a loss as to why I received this PCN in the first place, is there an issue with the technology?I look forward to hearing from you.Kind Regards2 -

Hi All,
Just a final update, glad to say Plan A worked. Had to persevere with the shopping centre management team a little but they were helpful in the end and did get the PCN cancelled. I did follow this up with a confirmation email to G24 which they responded to confirming the PCN had been waived.
Thanks for all your help, just got another 2 to deal with now!!

I am now in a similar situation and would appreciate your help.
How did you contact the Edmonton Green Asda Management team? Is there an email address you can share?
Thanks in advance0 -
