TalkTalk broadband contract coming to end 11th Oct. 8th October, switched to Vodafone UK, within 10 minutes got better deal back from TalkTalk.
Cant upgrade as TT saying Vodafone not changed switch over. VF saying they never switched it over. Both won't speak to each other. Spent hours on phone. 10 days on still not resolved. TT sending a letter of deadlock. Rang Vodafone again, person said it's not his department trying to get through to correct dept. on hold 48 minutes. What do I do?
Asked TT if I cancel and go with different provider will they switch it over, they said yes! So why cant they make an internal upgrade

Oh dear, dealing with two of the worst ISP's for customer service. Get what you pay for unfortunately.
So on the 8th October you signed up to Vodafone and they initiated a switch and notified TalkTalk of a transfer date. You then got a better offer from TalkTalk and decided to re-contract with them.
Did you cancel the Vodafone contract under the 14 day cooling off period before re-contracting and get confirmation the migration had been cancelled?
The switch over is driven from the ISP taking over the service which is why TalkTalk will do that. If the system says there is a migration in progress I doubt their system will allow for them to do much.
The fact the switch has not happened yet does not mean they haven't initiated it but just not completed it.
Good luck with dealing with either of these ISP's. You probably need to understand from both as to what they both believe the current status of the migration is.
Personally I would get the migration cancelled and then move to a decent ISP.0 -
So who is supplying your broadband at the moment ?0
