Think I’ve been a victim of identity theft

At least five years I’d think. I understand that and indeed had another mail order account that was closed in that way. In that case, they wrote to me, explained that their policy was to delete customer information that had not been used in 2 years and gave me the opportunity to use the account in order to maintain it before they closed it. Studio haven’t; if I hadn’t checked my file the first I’d have known about it would have been when I next tried to place an order and was unable to do so.marcia_ said:
When did you last use the studio account? Long term of not using it will have them withdrawing credit to you because it cost ms them money.Kim_13 said:That sounds like the same thing, but with mine only starting this month.I went onto the Monitor section of my report and was alerted that a mail order account I had (Studio) was marked as settled on 21st September and updated with the CRA on 1st October. I did not ask for this account to be closed, nor had I been warned that it would be for non-use. They still exist so I am wondering if an unexpected closure would be a sign that something untoward is going on?1 -
You could use this form: https://reedelsevierinc3.my.site.com/webform/s/ to ask them, the first "reason for request" is about why they submitted a search to a CRA.0

Have submitted this morning and received an automated response so waiting to see what they come back with. Not the greatest design in the world, as it asks for a the search reference and name when the likes of Credit Karma are probably the only ones who are going to do a single search to prepare your report. When an application has been made, there will naturally be multiple searches (ID, AML, Affordability etc.)ManyWays said:You could use this form: https://reedelsevierinc3.my.site.com/webform/s/ to ask them, the first "reason for request" is about why they submitted a search to a CRA.0
