  • The driver was there on business, loading / unloading. The business provides a service to a client in the building and stops there for 5 minutes twice a day, 3 to 4 days a week.

So why hasn't the client's management team cancelled the PCN or told you who the site property firm is (they can cancel it)?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Ah, yes! Have asked the client and they have provided the name of the management company. Is there a template complaint or do we just simply say what we were doing there and why we thing we should have it cancelled? We've been told by the resident that the management company aren't that great, but guess it's worth a shot?

Complaints come better from the heart, not a template! Most companies will just bin template complaints as they can spot them a mile off, especially if they start "I hope this message finds you well" or similar rhubarb!

Why not just skim-read through SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCs which is the first hyperlink in the NEWBIES thread?

    Thousands of successful examples!

    Update.

As expected appeal unsuccessful and we cannot make contact with the management company, no response to emails or calls.

I'll re read the newbies thread for next steps but I think it's POPLA from memory, so will get to work on this.

    Great, thank you!

So IGNORE until 'Letter of/before Claim' and also IGNORE anything from so called "debt collectors"

I believe this to be the way to go now?

    Update

The Management company has gotten in touch to say that have requested that the ticket is cancelled and will update us when they hear back.

They also said they would take our Registrations and make them exempt from future tickets.

    Fingers crossed this all works!

Thank you all for your help with this!
