I'm with calor gas, I called and ordered 600L L also pre paid for this at the time.
Calor have delivered a full tank this has left me with a bill of over £900 left pay.
Where do I stand with this.
The gas was delivered when I wasn't home and I was not left a delivery note.

I would guess you are going to use it so you are happy to pay for it, just not right now?
Contact Calor, explain their mistake, set up a DD to pay £x per month ( to suit you, not suit them) until it's paid for0 -
No I'm in the process of swapping supplier so just need enough to get through the switch.
Calor charge .89ppl where as new supplier is .45ppl.
Also I specified how many litres and pre paid. I ordered that much as it's what I could afford I have a log burner and have only been using LPG for hot water as I have no choice.
It shouldn't be a case of ohh well you will use it eventually so tough luck you need to pay.
If you ordered 2 sausages and got given and charged for 20 you would expect it to be rectified not told oh well you you will eat them eventually.
Cost of living is high I work extra shifts to just to be able to afford bills, fuel, and food.
I have also contacted calor who are currently not willing to take responsibility, and there in no ombudsman for LPG0 -
I agree with you. If you arranged for a given volume to be delivered and pre-paid for it then why should you pay for the over delivery.
From previous posts on MSE, I don't think there is an Ombudsman for LPG.
Do you have Legal Advice cover on your household insurance policy? If so, I would make use of that.
If not, contact Citizen's Advice and see if they can help.
Did they send any written communication following your telephone order to confirm the delivery was for 600L?
That being said, the pre-pay value should prove that only 600L was ordered.1 -
Do they have a minimum order amount that might override your desire for just 600?
I expect you will have to pay for the gas, over time perhaps but still pay for it.

Have a close look at the Calor Ts & Cs. They may have a get out clause in there, as I suspect that this is not the first time that it has happened.
If there is no get out for this scenario, then this strengthens your case for the removal of (or not charging for) the excess gas.1
