UKPC Ltd Gallions Reach Shopping Park F

Options
Good Evening All.

once again need your help and guidance on this. For some reason my first letter of notice got misplaced behind parcels and today I found the NTK! Went there to meet up friend and my car went into “Limp mode” if anyone is unlucky like me and owns a diesel car will probably know the issues with DPF! Anyhow managed to get a friend to come and use his diagnostics to help do a reset and hard Regen to the DPF. I was not at all aware of the time or signage restrictions. What should I do fellow friends?? Thanks

Plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements

Complain about the PCN to the retail park management team or company, or the landowner, get it cancelled at source ASAP

Also, appeal as keeper on day 26, using the blue text template appeal, adding a line that the vehicle was faulty and took time to be fixed, so circumstances beyond the driver's control

No blabbing about who was driving

Oh yes, I am very familiar with DPF problems and going into limp mode. I feel your pain.

Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner/managing agent and the keeper's MP. Galleons Reach has featured on this forum before, a long time ago.

If Plan A fails, and you are in time to appeal, then do so using the template in blue text you will find in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES. Send it unaltered from the keeper save for a one liner stating that the vehicle was broken down, not parked, as defined by the persuasive appeal case of Jopson v Homeguard, therefore no breach of parking terms occurred.
If you are too late to appeal, then either appeal by post so you can show a judge when the inevitable court claim arrives that you tried to narrow the issues, or ignore and await the Letter of Claim/Court Claim.

Also get photos of the site and signage because UKPC signs are always inadequate and incapable of forming a contract.

Dropbox tells us your full name and the images you have shown there clearly display the vehicle's registration mark and the PCN Number.

Your PCN number is still showing. You need to remove/redact ALL personal data.

I don't think you should use the template appeal. I think (if plan A fails) it would be better at appeal stage to simply say what happened and prove it: attach a short signed statement from your contact who came out & did the diagnostics on that particular day (which he must state: date and approx time).

But hopefully plan A should work. Try hard.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
