Wow.

Make a formal complaint and tell them you are now having to apply to the court to amend your defence at a cost of £119 and they are liable for that sum (and any further losses caused by their incompetent documents) and you require a full refund because they completely messed up the defence and jeopardised the case. Depending upon their reply you will decide whether to report them to the Law Society.

You are going to have to apply (form N244) for permission to amend the defence because the solicitor who wrote the Defendant's pleadings is no longer acting for you and you are complaining to the Law Society about the incompetent defence they produced that you have only just realised is largely irrelevant.

Unless you qualify for Help With Fees this will cost you £119, as I said above.

I really wish you'd just come here first.

I just ended the call with the mediator and all PPM would offer was a $100 (working on a weird keyboard) reduction and installments.
I wish I have found this forum sooner myself. I was never before involved in any sort of issues with the law so I just blindly trusted a lawyer.

The second lawyer still ghosting me.

I have tried to review the pictures attached to my PCNs again but they are no longer available online, is this something I have the right to request from BW legal or PPM at this point? They alleged they have profe the signs were readable at the time of the pictures they took, but can I suggest they put them up for the picture? Am I obliged to come to my parking space everyday to check if there are new contracts up? Because the day I entered the parking space there was nothing but vandalised signs (only the PPM ones, other signs were still intact) and I might not come down to the garage for days as I work from home, and didn't do much driving with a gigantic (no joke) pregnancy belly I had at the time anyway.

I have contacted the lawyers I was advised on here yesterday and I'm still waiting for their reply, I can't do this on my own anymore as I am truly struggling with anxiety.

Thanks for the help so far and anymore you can give.

I will write to the first lawyers, but I need to gain some courage first.

Now I just need to grow some b***s to confront the lawyers that called me a petulant child for not being happy with my defence and ask them for a full refund plus the cost of a N244...
And hope to hear from the contestor legal soon. And to win the lottery.

You should email a SAR to the DPO at any company to obtain copies of paperwork and pictures etc, especially the claimant parking company and B W Legal

Yep you have loads of time but do need to amend the defence asap because it COULD be struck out by the allocating Judge within weeks.

Hopefully Contestor Legal will take on your case. It costs money but they are specialists and will attempt to obtain all costs too.

3. I have had a valid parking permit to park my vehicle (currently registration mark ****) since November 2020

4. Upon receipt of a spate of PCN`s from the Claimant (7 in 2 weeks) I wrote to their acting

solicitors with a complaint. My parking permit was always displayed – just sometimes not in the 

windscreen – and conveniently all the Claimants images of my “non display” of valid parking 

permit were of the windscreen or other optimised for purpose areas of my vehicle only.

5. Having parked my vehicle at this location since 2020 the Claimant is fully aware I am a permit 

holder, but in my opinion, has tried to exploit their position to raise parking fine revenue.

6. Further, the Claimant claims non adherence to posted terms and conditions of parking and is 

completely reliant upon them in their particulars.

7. Please see attached images. This has been the state of those displayed terms and conditions for 

over a year now.

8. Whilst I do not condone acts of vandalism (likely from another disgruntled permit holder I would 

imagine) it is hardly conducive to the Claimant claim to state these are clearly displayed terms 

and conditions of use.

9. For the purpose of illustration, I also attached an image of my parking bay in relation to the 

“clearly displayed signage” the Claimant is reliant upon.

10. With respect to the Court, there is no breach of displayed terms here, there is no unauthorised 

parking, but perhaps there is a vengeful attempt at retribution because the signage was also

defaced at my parking bay.

11. Consequently, I ask the Court to dismiss the claim.

I just re/read the irrelevant drivel put together by the first solicitor asking for a non-existent CCJ to be set aside and apologising for replying 'late' to the claim.

What exactly does the solicitor mean by 10?
