My broadband and tv package has gone from £50 then £58 in contract to £81 for my new contract! 40% increase 😳 If we had Fast Fibre in our area we could have the same package for £40….
We’ve been a Sky customer for over 9 years, and they aren’t offering any deals, no flexibility to help reduce our bill other than to reduce the services we have with them, Sky signature TV, Broadband, Talk, Netflix (which was free but not now) and Booster…..
I just needed to say this out loud, I’m appalled

You might be able to get the £40 package as a brand new Sky customer, don't kid yourself that existing customers can obtain the same deal.
Have you actually called Sky and asked what might be available?
What platform do you use for TV?

Look for a better deal elsewhere for broadband - and if Sky don't make you a satisfactory offer, let another ISP take over the service.1 -
I'm with Sky (TV & BB) and the contracts are coming to an end, so I'm considering BRSK broadband because they are cheaper/faster and have a better reviews than Sky. They also pay any fees to buy out fees (up to £150 I think) so I contacted and they filled out a form which is obviously sent to Sky.
I'm currently paying £38 p.m. for Superfast 35, so not full fibre and within seconds on submitting the form, I had an e-mail from Sky offering me this product for £24 p.m. I'm probably not staying with them because the BRSK speed is 900 Mbps but the point is you could try this with any provider and see if you get an immediate offer from Sky, should you want to stay with them.
