You need to realise that these companies issue these invoices under contract law they are just greedy twisted Muppets after your cash, they never accept appeals it makes no money, in fact their rules and terms are made up by them to catch as many as possible.
In short they love it when these incidents happen and they salivate like hungry hounds over this it's the only way they make money, they don't get anything from the parking payments.
You are taking them too seriously they are not an authority but you should follow your inclination with help from here.
  • Thank you all- it is much appreciated

Lucky you. Gladstone's will issue a claim that does not comply with CPR16.4(1)(a) which means if you follow the advice, the claim will likely be struck out at allocation stage.

Often, Gladstones LBCs never proceed to a claim form at all.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We so badly need protected from this greedy nasty industry. Please join the motorists in demanding the re-launch of Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice.

    This is what they responded:

So they aren't bothering to reply and aren't complying with the PAP for debt claims. It's ironic that they accuse victims of using template wording, which isn't an issue (Judges would say "so what?") and doesn't mean they can just not bother to reply at all.

Every letter this industry uses is a template! Why is there so much intimidation and consumer blame?! They are supposed to answer any questions and narrow the issues.

    Instead you get blocked:

"We won't accept any further submissions from you".

This isn't the 'debt resolution' service that PPC World sat with straight faces and misled the DLUHC Select Committee about in 2021.
Do you think they'll take this to court?
