We've transferred out Cash ISAs to 3 different providers on 3 separate occasions, each time transferring full balance (so should be simple). 2 out of 3 times new provider has provided instructions before maturity, and once just after maturity. Each time it has taken more than 2 weeks, this time we're on 3 weeks and counting. On no occasion have delays been communicated.
If you have transferred out an ISA from Shawbrook, how long has the transfer taken?
It is also I believe the first ISA transfer I've ever done so to be all processed in 7-8 days was great.0 -
Transfer from Shawbrook requested 16th. Completed today - 19th.
Edit: actually it looks like it may have completed yesterday 18th, but I only got the notification this morning.0 -
I opened a new Isa with Aldermore late last Friday night (11th) and requested a transfer from an EA ISA I had opened the week before with Shawbrook (I split a larger ISA maturing into fixed and EA Isa's to make it easy to move the EA out). Aldermore made the request to Shawbrook on Sunday 13th, on Monday 14th message from Shawbrook to say they had received the request to transfer and to allow up to 14 days. On Friday I had an email from Aldermore to say they had received the ISA and on checking it was dated 17th. I received £37.70 interest from Shawbrook for 5th-17th Oct, I was happy enough with the time taken considering I opened it over the weekend.I still have another ISA with Shawbrook and have used them for several years and never had any real issues dealing with them, they are always very helpful on the phone.0
