I sold excess tiles from my new kitchen on facebook, just say size of tile, what M2 they will cover and suggest uses plus of course lots of photos.0

OP, if you are on Facebook, look for a group for your postcode. Every where I have lived seems to have a C.R.A.P. site (Conserving resources and Associating People). You can post stuff on their to give away. Or on Marketplace sell or give away. If you have any contacts at a local school, maybe ask there. You can take to the tip, or put a couple or so in your black bin each week if allowed.0

Freecycle or Gumtree freebies of your local Facebook share page will sort the problem. Tiles get snapped up really quickly. Just post pictures of them, be clear about the sizes and quantities and that you can’t deliver them.0

The weight won't be an issue. Even if he has 500 tiles which weigh 200g each that is only 100kg
