I just don't get this sudden surge of popularity with Vinted.  They've in particular captured the female 25-40 market.

It's full of scammers and it has an appalling customer service that is happy to flout UK consumer laws and even ignore you when you point out exactly which laws they are in breach of.

Caveat emptor.  Do not buy off this website!
For balance I've bought several things off vinted, and it's all been as expected

I've bought more than several and only one purchase was a disappointment.
    I've had some amazing bargains.
Probably because I'm super careful about what I buy which is why I noticed the odd pricing.

Maybe @whalemoney could share personal issues they have had with Vinted.

And, just to note: active boycotting is against forum rules.
  • I am a bit off-topic here, sorry, but yes I've seen this kind of thing, & Vinted customer service is appalling - you can easily wait at least a week for them to get back to you, and it's always very unapologetically.  I just don't feel safe on there anymore, especially with selling stuff.  The new postage rules are completely discrimatory as to people who are unwell/disabled, and I asked them to confirm that they aren't bothered about people who can't get to drop off locations, which they did confirm.  So that's me done with the people - I may still buy from there occasionally but selling is impossible, & although ebay takes longer to list items at least you know they have reasonable customer service available.
